You know when you have that little feeling that something just isn't right about a situation but you never say anything? You know what I'm talking about, that little feeling that says that phone call/text is about more than what it says? This has been on my mind alot since I've had people ask me my feelings on married couples having the opposite sex whether married or single texting/calling them constantly, If you have someone of the opposite sex texting/calling your spouse or you and it bothers you then speak up because it can literally tear you and your marriage apart worrying and wondering. I can honestly say 9/10 they are out to destroy our marriage.

My personal feeling is that if you are married you have absolutely no business what so ever having a single or married person of the opposite sex texting/calling you all the time for absolutely no reason than to bug you and try and tear your marriage apart because that is exactly what will happen if you don't put a stop to it today!!! If your spouse has this issue going on have them put a end to it or seek counseling because your marriage and happiness depends on it.

Well I pray this opens someone's eyes because I know first hand what will happen if it continues. I will be praying for each of you that reads this to put a end to it and begin a happy and fresh start to a more amazing and happy marriage.

So I just had to share my wondeful Christmas present with all of you, My husband bought me a wonderful and beautiful bedspread :) See I told you I was appreciated even though sometimes I just don't feel like it. Sometimes we just let our emotions get in the way and forget to really see the big picture.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! I know that I am so glad it is over! I'm looking forward to a New Year and having a better, more organized year in my blog, family life, and also in my business. I pray blessings of happiness over each of you.

Feel free to share your New Year Resolutions below. My New Year Resolution is to kick procrastination to the curb :)

Little moments

Yesterday I learned just how much little moments of love can pay off in big ways. You always hear that it is the little things that matter, well that is so true so do the little things that you know your spouse appreciates. If you noticed that he/she had a rough day then do your best to help them relax, for example fix their plate, get out their clothes for their bath, give them a back rub/massage, etc. It pays off big to be generous.

I had a busy day yesterday but I fixed my hubby's favorite meal before I left to go to my niece's little Christmas play. I try to always make sure my house is in order before I leave even if I had a bizarre day and I really feel sometimes it goes unnoticed. Well when I got home last night I saw that it was noticed, My husband had hot cocoa on the stove, ran my bath water and even had candles lit :). Boy was I a happy woman. Sometimes we feel unappreciated and they come along and show us we are very much appreciated.

Your challenge today is to do the small things, take those little moments to make a big change in your marriage. Do what you are called as a wife/husband to do and do it with joy. You will be rewarded not only by your spouse but your heavenly Father above :)

Say the things that matter most

Tonight my heart goes out to the families without their loved ones because of some sad individual who had the bright idea of killing innocent children. I really don't know how those families are holding up, there is no words to even describe the pain they are going through. I will be praying for them to have peace and understanding.

So many of us wish we had babies to love and there are those who have them and don't show them love. I really hope that this is a wake up call in America to turn back to Jesus. He is the only one that can help this country which is steady going down hill.

Prayers to all involved in the shooting and I hope that you hold your loved one close and tell them you love them every chance you get, you never know when they will be called home.

Try something new

Today I woke up and decided to try something new, My husband is a hunter and is always bringing home wild game to cook and I have never cooked it so today I'm attempting a Deer roast in the crock pot. It got me thinking while preparing it about how we are always scared to step out of our comfort zone and try something new, speak to new people, and go out of our way to make others feel welcome, all because maybe it won't be noticed. But the Bible says in Matthew 6:4 "That your alms may be in secret: and your Father who sees in secret himself shall reward you openly." so why are we slow to bless others and do things to bless his kingdom even if no one sees, He sees and He knows and He will bless us for it.

I blog on this site even though no one comments not to glorify myself and make myself something I am not but to bless others who are hurting, seeking advice, or just wanting to read something new. God sees my heart and He knows I do this for His glory and Honor.

I challenge you today to do something different, reach out to someone new and bless them :) even if its just a comforting smiling saying you care.

Prayer:
Lord, Today I pray that you will reach out to each and every reader who comes across my page. Lord please wrap them in your arms and comfort them, provide for them and be there in every trial and every test they face. I ask you to watch over them always and give them strength. Amen.

Busy Bee

I first want to say that since the week of Thanksgiving my life has been very hectic, so I'm very sorry that you haven't heard from me. I did not give up blogging, I know no one has been commenting or telling me anything when I post but I know there are people reading because my page views have really jumped (Thanks by the way) and I really would hate to know that someone was waiting on my encouragement and it was not there for them to receive. Remember you can always ask me anything and I don't mind you commenting I want to know what you think even if you think it doesn't matter...It matters to me.

I didn't post my last week of making your home a haven but it was a week of decorating. My week was not only decorating but cleaning up and organizing and getting ready for my weightloss party.

Let's take time to reflect on this Christmas season. How are you preparing your heart and home for Christmas? Don't be busy busy and forget the real meaning of Christmas by putting more thought into material things and no into preparing your heart, celebrating Jesus, celebrating Christ love in your marriage, and getting your children involved in knowing the real Christmas story of Christ's birth.

Let me know what your plans are for this Christmas holiday...Leave them below.
